Off to Vegas
I have been slacking on the blog, I know, but it's cause my mind (and my money) has been occupied. Early Saturday morning Mikey and I will be on a plane headed to Vegas baby!
I promise to come back rested and ready to get back to work on the house.

Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day!!
The hubby has been out on call all day, so I have been at home relaxing on the couch, watching HGTV and touching up on a few projects.
After 4 trips to Home Depot we finally got the kitchen blinds cut properly.
What I like about them is they still let in light but add that bit of privacy I was looking for.

House Break
We're on a short reno break, the reason, we're heading to Vegas Feb 20-27 so any extra money is going into that. This will be our 3rd trip there and we're just as excited as our first time!!
Once we come back, we get to buckle down and start at the house again. Next project, the basement. Talk about a crap load of work, that place is downright scary!
Mike has been pretty much using this space as a workspace and I have been using it for storage.

The plans for the basement is: add full bathroom, put up all new drywall, redo all electrical, add storage room, add potlights, new carpet and cover post in the middle of basement.
